Dean Kirkland, the driving force behind our company, is a highly accomplished commercial, television, and film director. Combining his keen visual eye with unique and powerful subject matter, he has transitioned from an A-list photographer to a well-respected filmmaker, boasting an esteemed client list including the likes of Home Depot, Lamborghini, Antonio Tetro, Clint Eastwood, and Martin Sheen.
Dean’s innovative style, particularly in automotive photography, is admired by high-profile collectors nationwide. His passion for automotive history led him to establish K&K Productions with production partner Rick Knoop. Their first collaborative project, ‘Racing Through the Forest’, provides an engaging exploration of the Pebble Beach Road Races from 1950 through 1956.
Dean is currently developing several documentaries featuring racing legends like Parnelli Jones, Bobby and Al Unser, Mario Andretti, and Sir Sterling Moss. His mission to capture and preserve the invaluable history of the automotive world continues to fuel our mission at Kirkland Digital Film Productions, making every project a dream come true.
